On 1st October 2011, Facebook will require you to use SSL for all your pages.
The deadline has past, so you need to take action to get your pages ready.
Here’s what Facebook stated in their roadmap announcement on Tuesday, May 10, 2011
“We continue to make Platform more secure for users. Earlier this year, we introduced the ability for users to browse Facebook over HTTPS. As a result, we provided “Secure Canvas URL” and “Secure Tab URL” fields in the Developer App for developers to serve their apps through an HTTPS connection. Today, 9.6 million people are browsing Facebook over HTTPS and the trend is continuing to increase. Today, we are announcing an update to our Developer Roadmap that outlines a plan requiring all sites and apps to migrate to OAuth 2.0, process the signed_request parameter, and obtain an SSL certificate by October 1.”
We have all the technology and training to implement a compliant Fanpage for you which is fully HTTPS compliant.
